Summer Schedule for PTHS
The following chart is the schedule for Port Townsend High School for the summer, starting June 1, 2022.
Note: Mondays and Wednesdays are Rated Play, Drop-In. Please welcome visitors and rotate them into play.

On Monday and Wednesday, the schedule is loosely organized around Rated Play. Follow these guidelines:
--For Beginner and Advanced courts, there should be a minimum of 6 players. If not, incorporate players into Intermediate/Advanced.
--Players may play down in skill level, but they should adjust their play.
--If players are waiting, use the rotation system for skill designated courts:

• one player waiting, one goes in and one comes out
• two players waiting, winners split and two go in and two non-winners come out
• four players waiting, four go in and four come out, play games to 9
• winners limit their games to 2 in a row

--Use the paddle board to determine who goes in next.

On Tuesday, Thursday and Friday morning (9:00-11:00), there is Scheduled Play. Remember that Playtime Scheduler is a communication tool, not a reservation system. For these days, players use Playtime Scheduler to signify they wish to play with their own group.

Round Robin play is on Friday at 11:00-1:00.
Social Saturday, all Open Play, is from 9:00-1:00.

​Summer Schedule for Mountain View Courts
MV courts are open to the public for all daylight hours. Players may use Playtime Scheduler to organize play at Mountain View. Please schedule on the odd hours - 9:00-11:00, 11:00-1:00, 1:00-3:00, and so forth to provide for the best allocation of time.

Indoors at the Y
The following chart is the schedule for the YMCA for the summer, starting June 6, 2022.

Beginner– recently learned the game and is developing basic skills
*Beginner Session with Coach from PTPC
Advanced Beginner/Recreational – 2.0-2.9 – knows the game, has basic skills, and wants to play for fun
Intermediate – 3.0-3.5 – more competitive, interested in developing higher level skills and strategies
Advanced – 3.6+ - higher developed skills, including third shot drop, dinking and resets
Open – all skill levels welcome
