CPR AED Training
PTPC has worked with Port Townsend city managers to have an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) installed at our Mountain View courts. An AED is a device that can be used to treat a person whose heart has suddenly stopped beating and pumping blood (i.e., sudden cardiac arrest).
East Jefferson Fire and Rescue are teaching a class on the basics of "hands only" CPR for adults, children, and infants, which will also cover instructions for AED. Here are the details:
East Jefferson Fire Rescue Station 6
Friday, September 4th, 2026 from 10:00am to 12:00pm
Note: THIS IS NOT A CPR CERTIFICATION COURSE.
This course is intended for individuals who do not work in the healthcare field but desire to have CPR knowledge and skills.
This class is free, but you must register in advance. To register, go to https://lp.constantcontactpages.com/ev/reg/rzru4ah

Mortimer Round Robin Social Sunday, 20 September from 1-4PM, High School Courts
In this format, teams of three compete against each where the first two players play as normal and the third player must stay behind a blue tape line placed six feet inside the baseline to play deep balls in that area. When either front player makes an error, they become the Mortimer. This is a very fun format where all levels of players can join in the hilarity. This Social is free, and signup will be via Playtime Scheduler, beginning on Monday, 1 September.
Pickle on!
