PTPC Plays in the Rain to Honor Stan

The Port Townsend Pickleball Club braved the rain to play a special Social Saturday hosted by Katie Holmes (thanks, Katie! and thanks to Carol for tracking down quiet pickleballs!).  Over 50 members showed up to play with quiet pickleballs.  Even as the rain made the balls heavier and soggier, the fun persisted.  It was a wonderful tribute to our great Pickleball Ambassador, Stan Jonasson, who was smiling at the joy today.  We all truly miss Stan and will work to “be more like Stan” and carry on his generosity and enthusiasm on the pickleball court.
