Awesome Play at PTPC Women's Advanced Doubles Tournament

Port Townsend hosted its second annual Women's Advanced Doubles tournament today (20 July). We had cool, calm weather for some excellent, exciting matches. Libby Hartman and Jennifer Cox swept the Round Robin portion of play, winning all five of their games. In the Semi-Finals, Libby & Jennifer defeated Jeannie Ramsay & Heidi Lappetito, and Mary Critchlow & Colleen Alger defeated Shannon Thaxton & Wendy Ahearn. We had two exciting Final Games, with Libby & Jennifer keeping their perfect record by beating Mary & Colleen for the Gold Medal. Shannon & Wendy beat Jeannie & Heidi to take the Bronze. Please congratulate your fellow pickleball members on a job well done!

Next weekend, we're hosting Intermediate Mixed Doubles (July 26) and Advanced Mixed Doubles (July 27); sign up to compete or come out and cheer on the competitors!
