Port Townsend Hosts Women's Intermediate Tournament

We had a chilly morning of pickleball at the Mountain View Courts. We had six women's doubles teams compete in our first-ever intermediate women's tournament. Char Reeves and Sherry Gyovai swept the Round Robin portion of play, winning all five of their games. In the Semi-Finals, Sherry & Char defeated Sara Nelson & Toni Harris, and Laurie Stusser-McNeil & Becky Eidemiller defeated Kristin Deverin & Jessica Pollack. We had two exciting and close Final Games, with Char & Sherry edging out Laurie & Becky for the Gold Medal and Kristin & Jessica beating Sara & Toni.
